A morning day finds me
walking over hills,
around all the curves,
following the lines.
I can watch as we arc
up and then
down,
tired
grass-drenched
dirt lifting our feet.
It will turn in a circle
(eyes straining to find
those worn, common edges)
'till our eyes roll back.
Is this

think it was
the only road -
moving?
Or still?
(It's just fear.)
